Urban Time Capsules

I remember carrying my coloring books (and toys) whenever I traveled.

Travelling, for me, is an important activity in engaging with the world around. Capturing these personal experiences through sketches and paintings has always been an insightful process.

Traveling provides contextual challenges for sketching. The limited supplies and time to capture these spaces, churned out some interesting styles and processes. The best of these outcomes are also applied across some projects.

Combining my architectural knowledge and art perspectives, these 'time portraits' are created using the 5 human senses, making these works dynamic, soulful and expressive. The urban context too, contributes in the creative process, giving it an intangible value.
